Abstract
Abstract
Little or no progress in the rule of law and the deteriorating situation regarding freedom of the media can say that the general conclusions of the reports of the European Commission for the Western Balkans for 2014. Most satisfied with this year's report certainly should be Serbia and Kosovo, and most dissatisfied Montenegro and BiH. Macedonia again for the sixth time I got the recommendation to start negotiations, but they did start. Again for the sixth time as a note mentioned a lack of rule of law. Regardless of the other noted drawbacks or positive reports for 2014, this paper will try to give an answer to the reasons why the Western Balkans are receiving serious concern about the rule of law as one of the elements of the political criteria of Copenhagen (1993 ). Why the rule of law can exist and function in the EU Member States, and has problems with his practice in the Western Balkans. What are those reasons that lead to be violated basic tenets of the rule of law is a topic that treats this paper.
