Abstract

The possibilities, the use and the achievements, the integration of theinformation and communications technology in the elementary education. With a specialaccent on the vision on informational society’s development, standards of theInternational Technology’s Association in the process of education with the profiles oftechnologically literate pupils.By the use of Information and Communications Technology ,pupils should beenabled to use and develop their informational and communicational abilities as asupport of their learning.The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is very wide concept whichrefers to the technological and other aspects of managing and processing of theinformation.ICT is an abbreviation of Information and Communications Technology which isdefined as: “diverse set of technological tools and resources used to communicate, and tocreate, disseminate, store, and manage information.”The Information Technology can be included but it is not limited to: getting, organizing, integrating, producing, evaluating, showing the information. The lessons include active use of Information and Communications Technology in evaluation, organization, integration, estimation and presentation of information. By the use of Information and Communications Technology pupils are enabled to use and develop their information and communications abilities as a support of their learning. Pupils are enabled to support their work through the use of Information and Communications Technology
