Abstract

Visual Art Activities can be used in different aspects for improving inclusive practice in Early Child Development. Educators and specialist in Early Child Development have significant and important role in understanding children special educational needs and creating a stimulating inclusive environment for learning and development. Educators and specialist are one of the main factors in promoting a child’s curiosity, opportunity for children to solve problems, to make decisions, to reflect what they have learned, and to create interactions among themselves, with the educators and with the activities. Visual Art Activities should match the age and development of the children in accordance with the interests of the children, which would help meet the adequate Early Learning and Development Standards, as well as providing interaction among the children.
The paper presents methods and techniques of work and possible approaches in the application of Visual Art Activities in Early Child Development working with children with special educational needs for example: hyperactive and attention defective (ADHD), children with physical disability, children with hearing and visual impairment and type, children with autistic spectrum, children with behavioral problems, children with intellectual disabilities, children with specific learning difficulties, gifted and talented children, etc. Paper gives explanation and examples how can educators and specialist in Early Child Development use Visual Art Activities to help children to communicate, to express, for emotional healing and reparation, to understand source of problems, for solving conflicts, for better knowing personality of children etc.
