Abstract

Tourism and hospitality activities are one of the basic activities which move national and global economy too, through establishing the conditions for society development. Its importance is obvious in each segment of social living and also its regulation in different aspects. Concerning all this, tourism and hospitality law regulation is one of the most significant regulations for regular functioning of these important activities. The aim of this paper is to give an approach to the status of tourism and hospitality in the legislation of the Republic of Macedonia, expressed through latest passed Laws from 2004 in Macedonian Parliament – Law for tourist activity and Law for hospitality activity, their structures, their affects and their perspectives concerning this domain. At the end some useful conclusions are given, which are basis for deeper scientific and professional approach in the future, monitoring of implementation process, and searching of the most appropriate decisions in this fields towards EU integration.
