Abstract
Power system load predictions are important factors for planning the future electrical energy consumption. One of the important factors that influence the power load is the air temperature. This paper analyses the correlation between the power system load and the air temperature. Power load forecasting is investigated by using a combination of the best fitting approximation with sum of sinuses and wavelet transform.
