Abstract
The Labor Law textbook starts primarily from the practical needs of law students who are concerned with studying the Labor Law system in the Republic of Macedonia as well as understanding its foundations and even more so its interactions with other parts of the law as a whole. The greatest emphasis is placed on the specific solutions in our legal system according to which future lawyers should work and apply in practice tomorrow. The Macedonian legal system in the field of Labor Law is fully rounded into a sound whole which, among other things, is also excellently theoretically founded, but it should be tested through practice where supervisory and judicial bodies also have a serious role and their quality of work certainly affects not only the perception of acceptance of the labor law system as sound, but also in practice it is necessary to generate a trajectory of continuous improvement of labor relations. Also, Labor Law must not be understood in a one-way manner - only in the function of protecting the rights of workers. On the contrary, the purpose of labor law is to improve relations between the four categories of stakeholders within the framework of labor relations: employers, employees, unions and state administration. Therefore, there is a fundamental difference between understanding labor law as a discipline that protects the employee and understanding labor law as a legal framework that generates a solid environment for the improvement of mutual interactions of the four previously mentioned interest groups - from which aspect the material is treated in this textbook.
