Abstract

The International Judiciary textbook is primarily intended for students of the
third cycle of studies at the Faculties of Law. Its content is written in
Macedonian and English in order to serve to master the teaching for
domestic and foreign students who are students of the modules of the third
cycle of studies at the Faculty of Law in Kichevo.
As authors, at the beginning we try to introduce students to the meaning of
terms such as judicial authority, judicial function, the rights that the court
should enable in its operation from the aspect of protecting human freedoms
and rights in accordance with international documents.
We continue with international courts as a reality in modern society. In the
textbook, the most significant international courts are presented in terms of
their classification, functional arrangement, role in international law and
acceptance by the member states of international organizations.
We devoted a special part to the further development of international justice
from the perspective of our understanding of the importance of the role of
international courts as an instrument for achieving international justice.
The fate of international courts is inextricably linked to the fate of humanity.
This means that the international judiciary will continue to develop. The
emergence of completely new courts should not be excluded, but the most
important thing in the whole process is that they must not be turned into
tools of power, but must be independent and impartial in the true sense of the
word
