Radio wave propagation is a cornerstone of wireless communication systems. Its complex behavior remains challenging to learn, visualize, and understand. Unity game engine and Extended Reality (XR) offer a transformative approach to modeling, simulating, and interacting with radio wave propagation in real time. This article evaluates XR's potential as a tool for visualizing radio wave propagation and simulating radio wave interactions with various materials.
