Abstract

Wahhabism and its ideology, which is based on an original interpretation of Islam, also implies a strict interpretation of the Qur'an. The ideology of Wahhabism is based on the idea of "tawhid" - the unity of God, that is the acceptance that only God is the one to whom we should obey and no one else. Any violation of tawhed is considered polytheism or idolatry that deserves to be punished. Every innovation in religious matters is severely condemned, that is, all religious concepts that have changed since the prophet Muhammad are condemned.
The subject of this research is the elaboration of the ideology of Wahhabism, ie its ideological postulates and their influence on the essence of the Islamic religion, in order to carry out terrorist activities, in order to achieve their previously determined goals.
The main goal of this research is to gain broader theoretical knowledge as well as experience of the forms and manner of action of the Wahhabis as a radical group to promote radical Islam for the realization of their goals, which are aimed at endangering the vital values of the state. in order for the endangered state to be able to adequately, first preventively, and then repressively respond to those threats, while taking into account the
extreme interpretation of the Qur'an in a way that conceals their rightful intent and action.
