Abstract
Food safety and its transportation are of great importance in the development of tourism in the Republic of Kosovo in a time of rapid development of the industry based on the development of technique and technology. Successful implementation of the legal frameworks for food safety, control, surveillance and monitoring of activities in the field of animal health, as well as control of national authorized laboratories is of particular importance.
Parallel to this, also is very important how fast will reach from the manufacturer to the warehouse and then to the consumer and it all depends on the roads and vehicles.
Emergency food transport has led many organizations and institutions to adopt best practices in order to avoid the dangers that lie ahead. Conducting field surveys on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo enabled to identify problems, difficulties, risks and obstacles to food transportation, storage, and food safety until final transport to the consumer, as well as its impact on tourism development in the Republic of Kosovo.
To create a complete idea of the need for emergency search and rescue, the types of disasters, it is necessary to know the factors that affect vulnerability and their effects need to be understood. Good management of such emergencies also requires identifying opportunities for risk reduction measures, preparedness and the need to build sufficient response capacities.
