Abstract
Tourism can be defined as a set of relationships and phenomena that derive from the movement and the temporary stay of people traveling from one place to another, most often for leisure, recreation and entertainment. Unlike other forms of leisure travel, tourism does not see the travel and stay of tourists only in terms of satisfying their needs and requirements, but also in terms of economy and development.
The significance of tourist values and the management of those values in the countries of Europe and beyond, as well as the tourist values available to Kosovo, as well as the importance of managing these tourist values, are the purpose that we try to contribute in this area and the paper will be upgraded in the future with new research on tourism management. Recent years have attracted special attention and have increased interest in research, as well as preserving and promoting these values on the other.
The development of tourism in the Municipality of Prizren is a process that is ongoing, especially in mountainous areas where people are investing in catering facilities, but at the same time, it is required by the municipal authorities to pay greater attention and invest in accordance with the possibilities in the field of protection and promotion of tourist values. The Municipality of Prizren and the entire state of Kosovo go through a transitional phase of development, but the future promises many things in the field of tourism management and its sustainable development, and it is expected that such work will prompt increased interest and treatment by local and state institutions
