Abstract
Tourism as an industry represents an important element for economic development in our country. The development of tourism in the Polog planning region is a very important factor for the development of the region in the economic sphere considering the new employment in the tourism sector and representing the region on the tourism market in a complete tourist offer that meets all the conditions that need a tourist destination .
With the main pillars of the tourism product of the Polog planning region, we show all the natural opportunities and accommodation facilities offered by this region to be one of the most successful tourist destinations and at the same time opportunities for new infrastructure and development of the region.
When we already have natural tourism potentials and infrastructure improvements, then we need to create a development policy that contains the SWOT analysis, which completes a tourist offer for a tourist destination.
Finally, the Polog planning region is a special region for tourism development and can freely represent a tourist destination that has all the elements of a successful tourist destination.
