Abstract
Abstract
Distant learning, which has been growing exponentially in the last ten years, reached a point of culmination with the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. The restrictive measures recommended by the World Health Organization aimed at protecting global health , made distant learning the center of attention of education policy creators worldwide. These dynamic transformational processes most certainly have not circumvented higher education. Adapting their learning and teaching approaches and strategies to the novel conditions, universities have widen the range of their teaching and research processes by relying heavily on distant learning. The paper at hand offers an analysis of the ethical dimensions of the process of distant learning in tertiary education.
Keywords: higher education, distant learning, global ethics, academic values
