Abstrakt
Although it causes reverence at its very mention, higher education in the Republic of Macedonia has been on the margins of reform efforts for many years, reducing its qualitative equivalence with European and world higher education experiences. Fortunately for us, but also unfortunately, this area began to transform under the pressure of modern educational processes and the enthusiasm of individuals and institutions only in 2003, with the signing of the accompanying documents of the Bologna Declaration. With this act, the Republic of Macedonia joined the European family in the domain of higher education, thus undertaking to reform the system of higher education according to the principles of the Bologna Declaration by 2010.
