Abstract
Implementation of descriptive assessment in ou r educational practice imposes a line of seriousquestions for the real role that descriptive assessment should have in the educational process. Students’quest for numerical grades hinders the implementation and acceptance of the concept. Descriptive assessment is still in its initial stage of implementation and significant efforts and actions are needed tofulfill its function.
