Abstract

Education in the future means the reconstruction of its system. Technically, it meansconducting reforms of the system as a whole, as well as the development of permanenteducation which is in coordination with social needs and changes. In Europeanintegration process educational system needs to be in coordination with criteria andrecommendations of European Union, paying attention to indicators of this system,which is defined by EU standards. The text hereinafter represents the integral partof widely set and realized project. “Redefining structures and the high educationdevelopment strategy “that was worked on in the period from 2013. to 2015.anddelivered to the Assembly of Republic of Serbia, i.e. department for education, science,technological development and informatics society. This project was realized by ateam in cooperation with central and regional groups in Serbia and regional countries,with 70 contributors. The model of our high education structure means the changesregarding the following: its openness, coverage and availability, funding, improving itsquality and efficiency, coordination and mobility of the programs as well as regardingthe inspection and supervision work inside of it.
