Abstract

At the Faculty of Security in Skopje, a modern teaching process is implemented, which is fully in function
of preparing the future staff in the field of security. The Special Physical Education, as an integral part of
this system, aims through the realization of a specific training program to enable planned and systematic
development of basic motor abilities and the acquisition of special knowledge and skills in the field of
martial arts. For the purposes of this research, certain motor skills of students were tested in order to
obtain feedback on the changes and transformations that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic. Using
a standardized scheme of five biomotor tests among a total of 65 male students, three measurements were
performed during the analyzed period. The data from the three measurements were processed with basic
statistical parameters and multivariate analysis of variance. Based on the analysis and the results obtained
from the applied statistical procedures, it was concluded that the online teaching of Special Physical
Education generally contributes to positive changes in the measured motor properties of students during
the duration of the Covid- 19 pandemic, but these changes have not fully met the educational goals, because
students were expected to show a higher degree of quality in relation to the semester score criteria for
assessing motor skills.
