Abstract
Abstract – Europe has committed to reduce the number of
serious road traffic accidents. This requires building a safe
infrastructure. Safety inspections are used to measure and
increase the road safety. To fulfil the stated goals, the safety
inspection must also be carried out at night, when specific road
defects are encountered.
