Abstract
The world economy has been seriously impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Micro, small, and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) have been particularly affected by the COVID-19 crisis facing with numerous challenges in their efforts to overcome the crisis. In this rapidly changing environment, digital transformation has become a key priority for each company to deal with business interruption. This paper aims to analyze the importance and need of going digital in order to enhance SMEs resilience to external shocks, focusing on the Covid-19 pandemic as an event that caused high adoption of digital technology.
