Within the framework of the work, the author scientifically determines the term intelligence service and intelligence through analysis of electronic sources and review of domestic and foreign literature. The author will use the following methods: analytical method, descriptor method, and content analysis method. The author analyzes the content of the intelligence activity in contemporary global conditions. The author will also analyze the role of the Intelligence Agency in the Republic of Macedonia and the content of its intelligence activity. In concluding observations, the author determines the role of the intelligence service in the realization of national and global security and the role of the Intelligence Agency through the content of its intelligence activity. The subject of research is the role of intelligence services in contemporary global conditions. Purpose of research is the role of the intelligence service in the realization of national, international security and global security.
