Abstract
Abstract
The good governance is one of the contemporary management concepts that in
recent times gained increasing importance for the overall efficiency and
effectiveness in public sector institutions. Consequently, the goal of this paper is to
make analysis of this concept, its application and effects in various organizational
settings by putting an accent on public sector organizations. In addition, the paper
examines the digital elements or digital frameworks that are fully compatible with
the concept of good governance. In general, the methodology approach applies
historical method and content analysis of various papers and documents in the
literature on good governance and digital governance frameworks. The results of the
research point out the necessity of successful implementation of these concepts in
public sector organizational settings. In line with the research results is the general
conclusion that every public sector organization must fully implement the twelve
basic principles of good governance.
