The purpose of this survey is to define what is e-learning and
what are its advantages and different ways of accessing and
learning in information systems for e-learning. E-learning is
a significant new discovery which finds the greatest use in
educational institutions, secondary schools and the primary
schools. The aim of e-learning is students from home can be
able to carry out all activities related to the faculty or school.
This survey presents two types of systems, one of which is used
at the University "St. Kliment Ohridski" – Bitola, while the
other is used at the University of Kenya. The aim is to
consider the advantages and disadvantages of both e-learning
system, where in the future will be able to perform their
upgrade. Within this survey gives a detailed description of the
two systems, and what they allow such advantages and what
are their shortcomings. Also, there is a section where are

methods of learning management knowledge and offers
methods for better evaluation of knowledge.
