Abstract

The growing demand of goat milk production increased genetic capacity of dairy goats has influenced the development of goat breeding, which it is the fact that the production and processing of goat milk is an important economic activity worldwide. The data presented in this paper have been collected form the State Statistic Office of the R. Macedonia. The objective of this study is to determine the actual condition and o constitute the projection of the number of milking goats and milk production for 2020. The total number pd milking goats in 2007 is registered 5235 heads of goats, while the projection for is to reach 15303 heads. The production of goat milk in 2007 is registred as 1936580 liters, while in 2020 it is espected to reach an increase of 2251656 liters of goat milk.
