Abstract
A special attention in tobacco breeding is paid tо the selection of parental pairs, which should be carriers of many good characteristics ln our investigations we have used the genotypes Prilep P-7, Bashi-Balli and Samsoung.
ln the cource of 1993 crossings were made by which we obtained the hybrids P-7 x Bashi-BaIi and P-7 x Samsoung.
During 1994 we investigated the way of inheritance of the following quantitalive characters: stalk height, numbet of leaves per stalk and content of nicotine.
For the charactet stalk height in the hybrids P-7 x Bashi-Balli and P-7 x Samsoung, a partial domination af the genotype P-7 was determined. For the character number of leaves pet stalk in the hybrid P-7 x Bashi-BaIi, a partial domination of the genotype Bashi-Balli was determined and in the hybrid P-7 x Samsoung, partial domination was determined for Samsoung.
For the character nicotine content in the hybrid P-7 x Bashi-Balli, partial domination of the genotype P-7 was determined, and in the hybrid P-7 x Samsoung, paftial damination of Samsoung.
