Abstract
The development of the concept of knowledge management for proving improving the quality and success in the fierce international competition is a basic strategic goal and priority of every modern company. KM and TQM are complementary concepts and to be successful in our environment it is necessary to make a kind of so-called integrated approach to management, consistent with the specifics of the Macedonian companies.
This paper includes research conducted in companies from the public and private sector in Macedonia on the basis of present initial hypotheses with defined indicators and main hypotheses, sub-hypothesis in order to assess the attitudes of the interviewed employees and managers in order to update and affirmation modern concepts and models for effective an efficient management of knowledge in the proving improvement of the products quality and services in the Macedonian companies, bringing the concepts of KM and TQM and their possible combination, as well as understanding of the attitudes, knowledge, access and use of these concepts by managers and employees.
