Abstract
The tourism has great importance for the economy of all countries in the world. The
aim of this paper is to point out his impact on the total employment and on the employment in
the sector of accommodation and food service activities in Macedonia. For this purpose, in the
paper will be used methods of linear regression and correlation to determine the strength and
the direction of the relationship between the number of tourist and the total number of
employees as well as the number of employees in the sector of accommodation and food service
activities in Macedonia.
