International freight forwarding is an important part of the system of social reproduction, which connects production, exchange, distribution and consumption. The development of international trade, and thus of the national and world economy, cannot be seen without the activities covered by services of the freight forwarders. International freight forwarding is a complex and dynamic system at the intersection of almost every socio-economic subsystems, including and coordinating a large number of entities that perform various activities in order to successfully realize international freight traffic.
The book "International Freight Forwarding" covers the essential and current issues in the field of international freight forwarding, with the aim of establishing an optimal ratio between the theoretical aspects of this matter and the practical knowledge necessary in practicing freight forwarding. The material in this book covers the economic, legal and technical aspects of international freight forwarding.
This book is created mainly for the students of the Customs and Freight Forwarding Department on the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality - Ohrid, but It may also apply to all entities involved in international trade in goods.
