EURAXESS in October 2015 was ‘on tour’ in 16 countries and making 34 stops to promote, disseminate and enhance the support to students and researchers throughout Europe. Ghent University Belgium Western Balkans Ambassador has proposed to intersect the pathways and make use of the tour for the benefit of the alumni, students and researchers in Macedonia and Western Balkans, by disseminating the idea and organizing participation to the caravan. The expected outcome has been seen in the proactivity of the intellectuals of the universities; hands-on communication and actions for improvement of their career; and manifestation of our human capacity and research potential to the European initiatives, such as EURAXESS. Ghent University alumni from Macedonia as well as interested students and researchers from UKLO Bitola, Macedonia benefited of the organized trip to Skopje on 26th October 2015 to the location of the EURAXESS on tour caravan, where the participants had the opportunity to interact in person with the EURAXESS professionals and take their resumes and research further in European currents.
