The criminal acts against the general safety of the people and the property projected in the Criminal Law of the Republic of Macedonia are acts of an abstract and concrete threat, because of the danger they carry with them through the dangerous manner of performance and the harmful consequence as their result. They are directed against the life and the body of people or property, but also against a special quality of the actual existence of the said goods, and it is the general safety of people and property. The main goal of this paper is creating a profile of this group of criminal acts in Republic of Macedonia from a criminological aspect referring to the past ten years (2005-2014). A special attention will be paid to the analysis of the phenomenological characteristics based on official annual reports for offenders compiled by the State Statistical Office, according to data from the Ministry of Interior, the Public Prosecution and the courts throughout the country. Their scope and dynamics will apply to reported, accused and convicted offenders, based on different criteria: gender, type of criminal sanction, complicity, number of participants in the crime, previous convictions, age, ethnic affiliation, education and occupation.
