Abstract

This paper focuses on the evaluation of a DSPN-based model for time-based preventive maintenance cycles occurring at fixed intervals, integrating failure-repair dynamics and scheduled maintenance. Steady-state analysis reveals that system availability is highly influenced by the interplay of MTTF, MTTR, MTPM, and TTPM, affecting both low- and high-available systems.
