The paper will offer an interdisciplinary and critical understanding and analysis of color revolutions as a form of hybrid warfare. Color revolutions are essentially special operations of hybrid warfare aimed at carrying out a coup d'état, and are carried out using political, informational, communicational, sabotage-terrorist, and moral-psychological methods of influence in gross violation of international law. Within the framework of preparing (developing) the content of the paper, the author uses the following methods for security research - the author used the general scientific methods: the descriptive method, the normative method, the comparative method and the content analysis method.
