Abstract

Abstract
Human mind as a complex mystery has been a subject of research from different
points of view for decades. To the extent that the mind manifests itself as an
observable phenomenon, it is often considered a peculiar human property or even
thought of as a material property of human. The complexity of the mind includes
cognitive abilities such as perception, recall, thinking, evaluation, decision
making, critical thinking, logic, which are the product of Intellectual ability.
Emotional Quotation controls such things as sensations, perceptions, emotions,
memory, desires, different types of reasoning, empathy, etc. Understanding how
this machine works is a challenge for us, as researchers, to come to some
conclusions. The main subject of this research paper will be how Emotional
Intelligence affects business decision-making among managers. Also in this
research paper we will review the difference between IQ versus EQ and their
characteristics. As the IQ is the more static and more permanent, we will also
analyze separately Emotional Intelligence and how it can be quantified, i.e. which
measurement methods are used. Also, how and in what way it can be increased to
improve decision-making among managers. Methodologically, we will use the
comparative analysis to make a comparison between these two terms. Also, we
will use an interview as a method to find out if the managers are familiar with
Emotional Intelligence and their awareness of how important it is for their
business decision making.
