Abstract

Hotel represents principle tourist and catering unit, and place where guests are supposed to spend most of the money
during their tourist trip. Having this in mind, the organizational and management structure of a modern hotel should be set
in the function of satisfying customer needs. The modern hotel management structure should include, besides elasticity,
the ability of prompt reaction to the newly arisen situations and bringing forward corrective measures, respectively. Such
management structure involves decentralization of decision making into several levels, having clearly defined authority
and responsibilities, up-to-date information facilities, and firmly established dynamics and information flow. Accounting
information system is an essential part of a contemporary hotel's information system.
