Abstract

The purpose of this survey is to define what is e-learning and what are its advantages and different ways of accessing and learning in information systems for e-learning. E-learning is a significant new discovery which finds the greatest use in educational institutions, secondary schools and the primary schools. The aim of e-learning is students from home can be able to carry out all activities related to the faculty or school. This survey presents two types of systems, one of which is used at the University "St. Kliment Ohridski" – Bitola, while the other is used at the University of Kenya. The aim is to consider the advantages and disadvantages of both e-learning system, where in the future will be able to perform their upgrade. Within this survey gives a detailed description of the two systems, and what they allow such advantages and what are their shortcomings. Also, there is a section where are presented in detail the opportunities that these systems provide. E-learning is very good work that combines modern methods of learning management knowledge and offers methods for better evaluation of knowledge. Keywords: e-learning, data, online, transfer.
