Abstract
Close protection of VIP persons and objects is part of the risk management system, where reliability and safety are the main components in the process of identification, detection and recognition of risks. At the same time, the purpose of risk identification is to predict what may happen or what situations may exist that may affect the work processes of securing persons or the organizational unit itself. This points to the necessity to manage risk as a basic prerequisite for reducing uncertainty and avoiding unwanted losses of human lives and other goods, while avoiding unnecessary use of human resources when the risk is low, i.e. redirection and use of human and technical capacities when the risk is high. The risk analysis and identification matrices are the starting point in the process of determining the degrees of security through the individualization of the degree of risk for each VIP person separately
