Abstract

Brief review of few major air pollutants of Skopje is presented in this article. State automatic monitoring system for ambient air quality measures up to 7 air pollutants is presented.
It consists of network of 17 fixed and 1 mobile monitoring
stations installed throughout the country. Performed analysis of pollutants’ inventory reveals that suspended particles (PM10 and PM2.5) are the most critical air pollutants in Skopje in the last couple of years.
