Abstract

Metastases are the most common malignant liver lesion and the most indication for B-mode ultrasonography. Hepatic metastases are 14-40 times more common than primary liver tumors. One of the main difficulties in liver imaging for metastatic disease is the high prevalence of benign liver lesion that can be misinterpreted as evidence
of metastatic disease.
