Abstract
The layout of German business letters i.e. positioning the parts is determined by standards, DIN 5008 and DIN 676. In present letters are usually written on a computer. The direct application of the mentioned standards by writing on the computer, precisely in Microsoft Word can cause mistakes since some information regarding this is not put in concrete terms. They don’t appear in books or instructions for business correspondence. This problem is solved by concrete suggestions in this work.
