Abstract

In this paper, the author will analyze the role of intelligence services in effectively and efficiently dealing with hybrid threats in order to achieve protection of national interests and create national resistance to society. In the introductory part of the paper, the author will determine the new role of the Intelligence Agency in the Republic of North Macedonia. As a result of the security dynamics, modern security threats and challenges, but also as a result of the changed status of the Republic of North Macedonia in the international framework, for building resistance and dealing with hybrid threats, a new way of action of the intelligence services in dealing with hybrid threats is determined in Macedonia.
In the concluding remarks, the author gives recommendations in the direction of how the intelligence services in Macedonia can effectively and efficiently deal with hybrid threats:
(Building high quality and trained key personnel, as well as maintaining the basic principles of cyber defense through constant basic training; Promoting cooperation and exchange of information nationally and internationally level, etc).
The content will be prepared on the basis of analysis of scientific literature and using electronic content. In the preparation of the content of the paper, the author will apply the general scientific methods: the descriptive method, the normative method, the comparative method and the method of content analysis as a separate scientific method.
