Abstract
Using the potential energy of water in the water supply system is one of the ways to obtain alternative
energy. The paper presents the basic criteria and characteristics for the selection of the equipment for
small hydroelectric power plant as well as the production of electricity for the past 6 years. Overview
of the limitations during the production is given and the way that required quantities of water are
provided.
