Abstract

Tobacco flea beetles is been registered as a new pest on tobacco in Republic of Macedonia. In last 4-5 years there were high infestations of this pest on tobacco in western and eastern part of the country.
The appereance of E. hirtipennis is been registered in neighbouring countries of Macedonia in Bulgaria, Greece and Albania.
Tobacco flea beetle is a part of the natural faunas of tobacco and started to be economical imported pest on this crop.
