Abstract

TQM is the way of managing for the future, and is far wider in its application than just assuring product or service quality – it is a way of managing people and business processes to ensure complete customer satisfaction at every stage, internally and externally.[11]
This paper studies the current awareness of TQM in Macedonian business entities, the implementation level and the benefits as a result of the adoption of TQM. For this purpose we have been applied a research on a representative sample on Macedonian business entities of Pelagonia region with a detailed questionnaire. The survey intended to measure the extent to which financial managers of Macedonian Companies are familiar with the TQM, along with the extent of the financial managers’ belief in the importance of TQM use, and the level of implementation of TQM. The results confirms that although the high level of awareness of financial managers of the importance of using TQM, no relationship exists between the awareness level of the financial managers and the level of TQM adoption.
