Abstract
Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS) have emerged as a transformative tool in modern education, leveraging
artificial intelligence to provide personalized learning experiences. These systems adapt to individual student
needs, offering real-time feedback, customized lesson plans and interactive problem-solving assistance. By
analyzing student performance and learning behaviors, ITS can identify strengths and weaknesses, enabling
educators to tailor instruction more effectively. This paper explores the role of ITS in enhancing educational
outcomes, focusing on their ability to improve student engagement, retention and achievement. We discuss the
key components of ITS, including machine learning algorithms, natural language processing and data-driven
analytics, which contribute to a dynamic and adaptive learning environment. We address these issues while
proposing strategies for optimizing ITS deployment to maximize their impact on learning. By harnessing the
power of artificial intelligence, educators can create a more inclusive and efficient learning environment, paving
the way for the future of intelligent, student-centered education.
