Within the framework of the paper, the author will analyze the terms: "warfare", "conventional warfare", "hybrid warfare". Furthermore, the author will provide an analysis of insurgency, definitions of insurgency and will determine the strengths and weaknesses of this threat. In the final part of the paper, the author states: Today, the definition of the term warfare is based on technological advances and the use of unconventional means and tactics and is more synonymous with non-state entities.
Today, the definition of war is changing with changing social circumstances and technological advances. In the last two decades, this definition has expanded to include non-state actors, cyber warfare, and the use of non-military means. The blending of all means of warfare is what distinguishes hybrid warfare from other historical forms.
The subject of research in the paper is – Research into the terms warfare, conventional warfare, hybrid warfare, rebellion – this represents important scientific content related to the struggle to deal with hybrid threats and towards achieving global stability and peace.
When preparing the paper, the author uses general methods, including descriptive, normative, comparative, and content analysis methods.
