Abstract
In 2007, Government of FYRO Macedonia identified tourism, together with agriculture, as priority sectors for development. National Strategy for tourism development for period 2008-2012 was adopted by Government of FYRO Macedonia in december 2007.
This act is essential for tourism development in FYRO Macedonia, and it affects tourism in wider Balkan region.
It is very comprehensive document which give better direction to the macedonian tourist development, and surely will contribute to the proper growth of macedonian tourism sector.
