Abstract

Parasites of aphidophagous hoverflies attack a great number of hoverflies species.
During the three-year investigations of the aphidophagous species of Syrphidae family, 10 species of parasites were identified in the order of Hymenoptera, ecloded from pupae of various hoverflies species, including: Pachyneuron grande Thomson, Pachyneuron cf. grande Thomson, Syrphophagus aeruginosus Dalman, Diplazon laetatorius Fabricius, Diplazon sp. 2, Diplazon sp. 3, Homotropus sp. 1, Homotropus sp. 2, Sussaba sp. 1 and Promethes sp. 1.
The reduction of hoverflies population has a negative effect on tobacco aphids control.
