Abstract

The efficiency of NOVODOR tm (NOVO NORDISK A/S) against cigarette beetle larva L. serricorne has been evaluated in laboratory conditions.
NOVODOR tm A. I. is the protein crystal of the sporogenic bacteria- Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. tenebrionis which acts against larvas of ordo Coleoptera.
The efficiency of NOVODOR tm is calculated by the Schneider-Orelli, calculating the dead larvas.
The highest efficiency (75%) has been shown by aplicating NOVODOR tm in doses 5L/500 L H2O, 15 days after frst application.
The average efficiency of NOVODOR tm is 58.3%.
