Abstract

We live in a time of technological revolution that has great impact on all aspects of
life and work. The rapid growth of new information and communication technologies
(ICT) is causing a real revolution in hospitality. It changes the way we provide food and
drink services and moreover, it changes the way business is managed in the hospitality
sector. There are many improvements in direct marketing that help e-business, ranging
from reducing the cost of hotel and catering facilities, to purchasing services desired by
the guests. Based on statistical indicators for the use of Internet and ICT on global level
in 2014 and research and analysis of catering software from several global IT
companies, we decided to present the usage of electronic tablet menu in catering
facilities today, and as an electronic strategy in hospitality in the future.
