Abstract

I hope that with this work I will contribute to the development of the international idea for cooperation between the European countries and wider, with a goal for improvement of the cross-border control system and creation of a sustainable base for cooperation in between European border polices.
The work is elaborating topics that are related to the history and segments of the work of the Border police officers. Indirectly are taken into consideration elements like population, institutions, infrastructure and economic strategies and other things of a mutual interest for the border areas and creation of Euroregions, everything that is in their surrounding and that is connecting them in the implementation of their tasks and responsibilities. The equilibrium that would be achieved encloses one complex that in fact represents the compatibility between all factors that are essential for the development of trust and prevention and extermination of all types of contemporary crime.
The result of my study shall be determination of a mutual European identity in the borderline regions where the main holder and coordinator of the activities would be precisely the Border control services.

Key words: Border Police, strategy, cooperation, institutions and population.
