Abstract

The term "national security" is associated with national reference values. Hence, "Critical Infrastructure" is defined as an important component of the national security of each country. Achieving the protection of critical infrastructure is one of the components of national security. The need to achieve protection of critical infrastructure is related to the need to build resilience of the Republic of North Macedonia in efficient and effective dealing with hybrid threats in order to achieve protection of national interests and create national resilience of society. The primary goal of the Republic of North Macedonia is the prevention of threats. When realizing the need to build national resilience and deal with hybrid threats, the use of the following three methods is determined: detection, rejection and response to threats. The content will be prepared on the basis of analysis of scientific literature and using electronic content. In the preparation of the content of the paper, the author will apply the general scientific methods: the descriptive method, the normative method, the comparative method and the method of content analysis as a separate scientific method.
